PD University

Multiple dates

Various locations

PD University courses are targeted specifically towards graduating fellows at major academic institutions, although any year fellow can attend. They are sponsored by the ISPD and funded through an unrestricted educational grant from Baxter Healthcare Corporation and other pharmaceutical companies.

PD University is a 2.5 day course that begins Sunday afternoon and continues until Tuesday at noon. Course objectives will cover a wide range of topics.

30th Annual Dialysis Conference
March 7 - 9, 2010 Seattle, Washington

The Annual Dialysis Conference is presented by the University of Missouri School of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Nephrology; Continuing Medical Education; the University of Missouri-Columbia Sinclair School of Nursing; and the Academy for Postgraduate Health Care Education.

This conference convenes an international group of practitioners and researchers to discuss current developments in the field of dialysis. The conference is designed for health professionals involved in established dialysis programs, as well as those working in new and developing programs. Both researchers and clinicians will find sessions of interest to them. Extensive commercial exhibits give participants a chance to see for themselves what is new in PD and HD products.

National Kidney Foundation
April 13 - 17, 2010 Orlando, FL

The National Kidney Foundation Spring Clinical Meetings offers innovative educational opportunities for Physicians, Fellows and Residents, Pharmacists, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nephrology Nurses and Technicians, Renal and Clinical Dietitians, and Nephrology Social Workers. Participants will learn about new and evolving concepts related to kidney disease through workshops, debates, interactive courses and traditional didactic sessions.

The National Kidney Foundation is the major voluntary health organization dedicated to preventing kidney and urinary tract diseases, improving the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and increasing the availability of all organs for transplantation.
